'The Golden Shot' was a popular game show in the sixties in which contestants instructed a blindfolded cameraman to shoot a 'telebow' at targets. The show's stars were Bernie the Bolt, original host Jackie Rae, and later Bob Monkhouse.
Jean: I'm fed up with Sundays in this home. It's the same thing every week. You all lie in bed till lunchtime, and then in the afternoon Sally goes off to the coffee bar, Mike sits in Trafalgar Square trying to put the world to right, and you slouch in the easy chair, snoring your way through 'The Golden Shot'.
Mike: When I get home, I'm going to demonstrate against picnics.
Sid: Sunday? Mike: Yeah. It's that 24-hour gap between Saturday and Monday.
