I loved this episode. It had everything I like about the show.
Well the beginning started without any big scenes.. some stupid homicide that wasn't interesting at all.
But then when Dunbar had to make the drug deal and all his collegues weren't able to follow the real episode started:
After they took Hank away and he was alone. It got so emotional. It showed everything about his blindness and the fear one can have being blind, I suppose. Many people don't like the show because they say the idea of a blind cop is stupid. But I personally think that this is the wonderful thing about the show: They show exactly that it's almost impossible. They show, that he has no super-powers or anything like that. He is just a guy trying very very hard to accomplish what he really wants to do. And here, in this scene, we once again see that he has to face the fact that he's got limits to what he can do.
Imagine not seeing and being in a place like this. there was no one around, he didn't know where he was. I mean, even his phone wasn't useful at all, cause he couldn't tell them where he was. The way he stumbled around.. it was a great scene, not only acted well, but also filmed really good. They really took the time to show him like that and i really appreciated it.
And then the way he missed Hank, that was good.. even though it was not as clear as it became to me when he saw him again (*ops* SPOILER, but i suppose when you read this you have already watched the episode or are aware of there being spoilers in here)
I loved this scene and his thankfulness in the end. I really felt with him and was so happy he got the dog back. I suppose when a scene can make you feel so delighted they must have done something right doing the episode ;-)moreless
