  • Kai’s little adventure.

David informs Julia and Kai(who have arrived in Yekaterinburg) that Saya and the others are safe and in a town called Tyumen. After that, David, Kai, and Lewis go to track down Ted. A. Adams who was apparently the chief researcher for “Delta 67”. They go to his house and they find that it’s empty. They also find a torn up letter in the dustbin which David asks Kai to put together. Based on the information in the letter, they go to the house of one Mr. Philip Rosenburg, a colleague of Ted who, when enquired, keeps telling them about someone named Andrei. Later, they find out that Ted is heading to Sverdolovsk 51, a secret city that was supposedly used for nuclear experiments during the Soviet era. They find the nuclear experiment thing to be a bluff after a small test. After that, they go to the underground laboratory where they encounter a chiropteran and a badly wounded Ted. With some help from Kai, they push the chiropteran back to the underground lab(it’s hard to handle those things without Saya). After that, Ted tells them that the chiropteran was his son Andrei and that he turned him into a monster using “Delta 67”, a drug extracted from the blood of a girl named Diva who disappeared shortly afterwards. After this, he dies having been mortally wounded by Andrei. As his last wish, he tells them to bury his son which they do by bombing the place. Afterwards, David collapses from the wound he received while encountering Andrei. Lewis then tells Kai that David was the sole survivor of a Chiropteran attack that wiped out his entire unit. Later, Saua and the others are seen heading to Yekaterinburg. This episode was okay. It was nice to see David and Kai do something while encountering a chiropteran without Saya but it’s not as good as the one that’s about to come next.moreless
