    The Constellation Awards are Canada's annual science fiction awards, focused on rewarding excellence in science fiction film and television. This is their 2nd year.

    The Constellation Awards: Canada's fan awards for Excellence in Science Fiction Television and Film.

    Christina Cox is nominated for Best Female Performance in 2007, for the episode 5:55.

    Tanya Huff is nominated for Outstanding Canadian Contribution to Science Fiction Film or Television in 2007.

    The Constellation Awards ceremonies will take place on Saturday, July 12th in the Plaza Ballroom of the DoubleTree by Hilton-Toronto Airport Hotel. We'll know soon enough how Christina & Tanya did.

    For anyone who didn't already know, Tanya won the Constellation Award for Outstanding Canadian Contribution to Science Fiction Film or Television. Congrats Tanya! Well deserved for bringing us such wonderful characters!

    Christina didn't win? Oh that SUCKS! I thought, as soon as I watched 5:55, that she deserved to be nominated for something because that was an amazing performance. So I'm really glad she was nominated, she deserved it, but she also deserved to win! BAH!

    But yeah, Tanya for yay!

    Oh well.. if it helps she came a close second. Carey Mulligan from Doctor Who won with 27% of the votes while Christina came second with 23%. Not a bad effort at all really!
