Just curious. Was looking for info on the net/sites and much of it is months old meaning that fans are inactive and have given up/nothing to do. I guess another good show goes down the tube?

I think BT is gone for now I read some where that the actors' BT contract options expired in August.

Really stinks in my opinion, I love this show, and love or like a whole lot these days, but I did see CC on a recent episode of Stargate Atlantis which was nice.

Aw so blood ties isn't coming back for another season. That really sucks because i really really liked this show.

pretty much so. seeing the actor that played the vamp said most of the set was pack up or destroyed

I dunno, I read an article somewhere that the set WAS NOT destroyed and that a US production company was in negotiations with the Canadian production company that owns the rights to Blood Ties....

Personally I've seen a lot of stuff from recent weeks about bringing it back so the fan's just haven't given up!
I am on a website that sends letters at least once a week to the shows producers.

Also the last I heard from recently is that they were thinking of selling the show to another network and are keen on bringing it back but not sure what network to do it on. I don't think it will die as it has a real hard core cult fan base. Plus it needs finished.

I don't think it'll stay around long but I do think it will finish.

I think I was more upset about the cancelation of BT than I have been about a show in a long, even considering how many of my fave shows have been canceled early.

From what I've been reading on the boards lately, it seems that the fans haven't given up, but Tanya and the cast seem to have concluded that too much time has passed to get the show back

I just finished the DVD and I don't understand networks that kill good vampire shows just when they are getting HOT. I loved Moonlight and Blood Ties both and instead we get vampires that sparkle and the only good looking one in Twilight, James, they have already killed off. Don't think any of the True Blood vamps are hot either. Of course I really love Spike, Angelus, Mick, Josef and Henry so any other shows have really high standards to reach in the Hot, Sexy vamps.

I would say it is pretty dead now. Christina Cox is starring on the new ABC network show previewing Sunday August 2nd called Defying Gravity.

I hope so. This show is terrible. There is no chemistry between Vicky and Henry, the plots are boring, and who wants to spend that much time with cops? I feel like Im at work, and Im not a police person.

Really? You think James was good looking? I guess it just depends on taste. Id say Twilight makes more sense at least the guy falls in love with a young, beautiful, sort of soulful girl. Kristin Stewart is someone I can see a vampire falling for. CC is really not going to be a vampires type. Unles the vampire is a cop, or has extensive mommy issues. I really HATE Vicky so maybe my view is colored. But she is such a bad person.
