Lifetime (ended)
I read the 5 novels when they were first published - and I've read them a couple more times since then.
The short stories were published in different collections, so putting them all in the second half of book three makes them much eaiser to find. I was kind of wondering how 5 novels made three omnibus of equal size ;-)

| I was actually in the middle of ordering the books myself when I read that they were making a tv series about them. I borrowed the first three books and the Summoning Series (fantastic as well by the way) by Tanya Huff from my cousin and absolutely loved them, I've just never been able to get my hands on the rest of the series. Can't wait to see the show and get my hands on those books. |

The author is Tanya Huff, the series is called The Blood Books. As someone else mentioned there are five novels in the series plus a bunch of short stories. They've been collected into three omnibus novels. Volume I contains Blood Trail (2nd in series) and Blood Price (1st in series), Volume II contains Blood Lines (3rd in series) and Blood Pact (4th in series), and Volume III contains Blood Debt (5th in series) and Blood Bank (collection of the short stories). Each book deals with a different type of supernatural creature: 1) Demons, 2) Werewolves, 3) Mummies, 4) Zombies, and 5) Ghosts. Here's a link to site that has a complete list of her other series and works, click here. |
