Nick: You're too young to live on your own. Blossom: We both know that's not true. There are people my age with children. Nick: Okay, look. Let's just get to the bottom line here, okay? There is no way I'm gonna let you move out of the house. Blossom: You gonna force me to stay here? Lock me in my room or something? Nick: Blossom, why are you doing this? Blossom: Look, Dad, I have tried to accept this, but you know that I can't. At first, I thought it was Carol. Maybe I just didn't like her or something. But that's not it. I mean, she's great. Kennedy's great. I'm sure you'll all be very happy together. Nick: Then what is it? Blossom: I don't know. It's just, I don't fit in anymore. It's like I belong to another time, to another family that just doesn't exist. Tony and Shelley are moving out, and Joey's gonna be on the road. You've got your new life, and I'm here like some kind of leftover from last night's dinner. I'm the human equivalent of day-old squash!
Nick: If you want to move out of the house, that's okay with me. I'll help you. Blossom: Really? Nick: Hey, it's just as much for me. I can't stand to see you so unhappy on a daily basis. Blossom: Dad, I'm not unhappy about you and Carol. I just...don't like change, I guess. Nick: Well, that's kind of how it goes. Blossom: I don't want to move out of the house. It hurts when I do that. Nick: So...don't do that.
