  • Writers Block.

It's a common fundamental problem all writers have gone though which is Writers Block a classic syndrome where you little can't think of anything to write. I've had that were for either a matter of hours, days, or even weeks I couldn't picture the next thing for the scripts I write. It's even worse when it's one of those school assignment where you have to write a certain length.

What I really liked about this episode is how it's formated, from it's time code which is an important clue of the whole episode, the answer to Joey's problem is right in front of him and us but we just don't really think about it or see it is all. I really like how we see Joey's imagination work which is almost accurate to most writers (I wouldn't say there is always half naked girls in them mind you that's all Joey) he practially experementing with ideas and of course it's one failure after the next. That is sometimes the fundamental problem with imagination is that sometimes it only streches so far. Seeing Joey's anxiety was both funny and just a bit painful because we're in suspense hoping he'll be able to get his paperwork done on time, we see from the timer that time is running out.

I even liked that subplot with Blossom, she gives out one of my favorate moments in the show when she screams at the news of Vinnie possibly cheating on her. And I just laughed my head off when she reacted with Joey negatives when he screamed in panic of his assignment, yeah Blossom right now is dangerously loaded with bad karma.

But of course in the end Joey's preserverance pays off, when he discovers the most important lesson in writing how the best stories are usual from ourselves in real life. And they usually are the best stories because their simply just that real. And the story Joey chosen I felt really displays that humanity he's made up of. Writers block is never forever because the one place to look for the best stories is within ourselves.
