This Spring, BET 's cameras chronicle the journey of five diverse and multi-talented individuals from Columbus, Ohio who form the musical collective 'Fatty Koo' as they struggle to break into the record biz on its newest series, BLOWIN' UP!: FATTY KOO.

Fatty Koo is five real people with the real pressures of school, family, love, religion, money and sex -- who fight and argue about everything except their music. Fatty Koo is a group not created in the halls of a record label but organically and authentically. No Svengali calling the shots. No mega-studio. No penthouse. No bling-bling. They are a talented, multicultural ensemble of young artists who experience the highs and lows of making an album and establishing relationships. The members of Fatty Koo hooked up aboard the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, and working together as one created a unique fusion of R&B, hip-hop, Latin, jazz and pop that led them to score a record deal with Sony Urban/DAS/Columbia Records.

"These are real young people with talents and dreams," said Stephen Hill, Executive Producer and BET Executive Vice President, Entertainment and Music Programming. "As this describes many in our audience, we saw this highly entertaining show as a perfect fit for BET. Our viewers will be cheering...and sometimes jeering the moves of these five kids. But the point is that the audience will be engaged. This story is that compelling."moreless

My fave member is marya and eddie b . If u didn't see the show u don't know what u missed. I hope they have a marathon and if u don't have the cd go cop it now it's the type of cd where u listen to the whole thing without skipping a song. my fave song is chills and bounce **** I like the whole damn cd).let me tell u about the cast of this show ron- he's the crazy one of the show and group and song writer and producer at the end of house of fatty koo he says cheddar fries I don't know why he said that but watching them on the made me realize he's a comedian. Eddie b-he's one of the lead singers of the group but he\'s a handsome young man but he did get mad when the said that they were going to replace him (i almost stopped wathcing the show when they were thinking about it)they didnt im so proud of him hes da bomb . josh-he\'s the newbie and one of the lead singers of the group so I didn't see much of him but from the few episodes he was on I would say he's the pretty boy and he's a mix between usher and bb king (he plays the sax and he dances) they were going to replace Eddie with him. But they decided to keep them both because they liked the vibe he brought to the group. marya- she's shy and quiet so she wasn't in the spotlight that much she stayed out of drama but She can work a cello. she sings most of the Spanish on the album. She reminds me of that hip hop violinist. gabby-she's the pretty girl of the group she's also shy but on a few episodes her and valure got into it they fought a lot they were in the same chorus class(they also have a song called move on where she and valure play fight). valure-she's the diva of the group when they are interviewed she answers most of the questions one day I was chatting with them on bet and I asked marya a question and she answered it for her they said so on the show that she talks a lot but don't cut her music off when she's cleaning she will become a **** I hope that yall will watch the show if there's a marathonmoreless

I only got to see one or two episodes but I loved the ones I saw and I love the CD! I just love how Fatty Koo have a CD that doesn't have all the same sounding stuff. Each song is practically a different style of music. No two songs sound a like and it makes you want to listen to it again and again. I would definitely buy the next Fatty Koo CD if they decide to make another. They are now one of my favorite bands and I hope to see more from them in the future. HOLLA!moreless
