    Recap:

    [Main Plot]

After the Clearys - neighbors of the Reagens - are murdered Danny and Jackie investigate. Though Ronnie, the son who moved in and lived in their cellar after battling with addiction, is the prime suspect they realize that his siblings are the ones who planned and commited the murder because of the inheritance. They framed him, hoping his past and mental instability would make it seem as if he killed his parents.

    [Mayor vs Commissioner]

Another political boxing match between the mayor (who wanted to cut the police force's budget by 10%) Frank won by k.o., using the media to print about the budget cuts. But of course, he (officially) didn't know about anything and the mayer declared defeat by telling Frank that he'd find the money somewhere. (Yay Frank!)

    [Blue Templar]

When Jamie gets to the precinct he meets Det. Malevsky who is just leaving and tells him to "be safe". When Jamie looks for his service weapon in his locker he realizes that someone (he suspects Malevsky) stole it.

Later at night Jamie meets Yolanda, Det. Gonsalves' twin sister, who hands him an envelope her sister wanted him to have if anything happened to her.

After declaring his gun missing Jamie goes to IA Lt. Alex Bello who, after a short conversation with Jamie, calls Malevsky and tells him that he is a liability.

Though Frank suspects that something is wrong Jamie is not ready yet to tell him what he found out about Joe and leaves shortly after their Sunday dinner.

When Jamie crashes his car because somebody messed with the breaks he finally calls Danny and tells him that Joe was working with the FBI, investigating the Blue Templar.

    [Thoughts]

Amazing, great, exciting episode. My eyes were glued to my screen and I started biting my nails after the scene with the car. Though the Blue-Templar-part of the episode was actually quite short (in terms of screentime) it felt as if the main plot was the side story. In the final scene Jamie confided in his brother, telling him about his investigation by playing the recording of Joe calling the FBI (it was in the envelope he got from Yolanda) and telling them that he was getting close to the Blue Templar but that he thought he had been made. I am looking forward to the season finale, and I hope it will be as exciting and entertaining as this one.moreless
