For me, this is probably the best episode of the series. Some very difficult situations were beautifully portrayed and the 9/11 storyline was done with respect and dignity.
The thing I love most about Blue Bloods is that faith is central to the Reagan family and they live their faith in their daily lives. We seem to have arrived at a place in out society where a person's faith, like so much else, has been politicized and that is a shame. In America, the Declaration of Independence says "...that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights... In Canada, our National Anthem has the words "God keep our land glorious and free."
We see very few mentions of God on television and I love a program where it's OK to have a faith and to incorporate it into who you are and how you live your life, do your job and treat others.
