Watching the episode, you will quickly see that its all about Danny struggling keeping his macho attitude. He gets personally involved when his wife is kidnapped, after he witnessed a kingpin killing.

The episode starts promising. Quick, the tension is build up, as you realize it will become personal to the family. But then, a in the plot that is too easy. Because of the limited time, unrealistic CSI Miami storylines are needed to keep it to 1 episode. My son and I are talking about "pulling a CSI Miami", a modern day version of the "deus ex machina", when a highly unrealistic turn in the plot is needed to solve the case. And I believe that a hard core criminal giving up crucial information in a split second is a good example.
The plot asks for 2 episodes. Or a different way to get the information. The episode needs some unexpected turns and harder work to solve the case. No more pulling a CSI Miami please!moreless

Just before Danny is to give witness testimony at a Peruvian drug lord's murder trial, Linda is kidnapped. This drug lord has a history of intimidating witnesses.
