Blue Gender

Edits on Cartoon Network: 1) Scene of Yuji shoving his rifle down the super-Blue's throat and blasting away shortened to remove scenes of super-Blue's head coming apart. 2) Shot of Miyagi being shredded by gunfire from rebelling Second Earthers cut.

The scene with the World Trade Center is wild because one of the Blue's cocoons is right at the level of impact on the second tower. However, if you were going to pick a U.S. city and building for the Blue to attack, naturally it would be the World Trade Center.

In one of the shots when Yuji is looking over the world and through the cities, they show the city of New York and in the distance you can see the Twin Towers still standing. Of course this anime was made long before the attack but you gotta wonder why they didn't edit that.
