  • Excellent pilot. Shown from Yuji's point of view, the world he wakes into is extremely terrifying and confusing.

    The year is 2009. Yuji Kaido is your average young man, until one day he finds out he is sick. Upon consulting a doctor, he finds that he has a disease that has spreading through the earth recently. Doctors tell him the cause for the disease is known, that it is what they refer to as "B cells". They tell Yuji that if the disease progresses and is not stopped, he will die. They also tell him that there is no cure for the disease, but there is a temporary solution for it. In the hopes that a cure will be discovered in the future, Yuji agrees to enter a cryogenic sleep, in order to prevent the disease from progressing into a further state. The doctors tell all the patients entering the cryogenic sleep, or the "sleepers", as they call them, should only be in this state for a few years until a cure for the disease can be found. Yuji enters the chamber, and the cryogenic sleep begins...... 2031, 22 years later, Yuji is awoken with his cryogenic sleep chamber being moved down a hallway frantically. Gunfire and screaming. Yuji is confused and has no idea what is going on. The chamber he is in falls over and he is thrown outside. Yuji opens his eyes to see some sort of creature killing people................thus begins Yuji's nightmare.moreless
