  • So Blood and Bone was a great episode for a few reasons, the suspense was good, it was great so see some of the characters grow, and it was even better to see the PJ targeting ‘one of their own’ as a suspect in the investigation.

This episode was good, I liked the fact that it targeted one of their own, fellow officers as a suspect in the serial killer investigation. I was never a fan of Garth, I still am not, when he was in the hospital, saying ‘I could never hurt you Amy’, I was just like yea ok then. I will believe that when I see it. The other crime in this episode, seemed rather minor, I’m assuming to draw the viewers attention to the serial killer investigation. The ‘demolition’ of a shed in a public place, and that is all I can recall from the episode. Overall I think the episode was brilliant, not only because it was about the serial killer, but because it allowed the characters, Amy especially to develop. It was good to learn about her past, as a child abuse victim, possible reasons why she has become a police officer. It was also great to watch PJ in a more protective role, the way he spoke to Joss when he had left his post, on Garth’s permission. Garth’s character in my opinion, is over-rated, just because he is a homicide cop, doesn’t mean he rules the roost at the police station, so to speak. The suspense when Amy wasn’t answering her phone, was startling. I wasn’t expecting that. The whole manlike thing that Garth and PJ were doing seemed just like two squabbling school boys over a prom date. PJ seemed to be the only rational one there, which was a good thing. So Blood and Bone was a great episode for a few reasons, the suspense was good, it was great so see some of the characters grow, and it was even better to see the PJ targeting ‘one of their own’ as a suspect in the investigation.
