Jonesy finds his career on the line as he attempts to protect Donna, and so he is stunned when he learns that she is a call girl. When they are attacked by Theo, and Jonesy claims that Donna was abducted, Amy soon doubts his theory - thinking that Donna faked her abduction. Susie soon joins in on this theory, after Donna tells her that she has Jonesy now, and Susie can never have him back. Although Jonesy is allowed to return to work, and attempts to patch things up with the others, he is still seeing Donna - and is stunned when she tells him that a missing man named Hugo Allen was killed by Theo, and that Theo is actually a hired hitman.moreless
  • Jonsey gets deeper into his relationship with Donna, for whom nothing is what it seems.

Donna is found, and claiming Theo kidnapped her. Except, she faked her kidnapping. She and Susie exchange words over Susie's relationship with Jonsey, and Donna says Susie will never be able to compete as she is 'just an amateur'.

The Heelers dig into Donna's claim of kidnapping and eventually get to the truth - Donna set herself up for sympathy and to pin the blame on theo. Digging also uncovers Donna's past as a prostitute. Jonsey is horrifed, and tries to break up with Donna. Except she claims Theo killed a man Donna had tries to protect while she had been a prostitute, and the St. David's cops (which are run by Falcon-Pryce) are knee-deep in corruption. Jonsey is determined to protect her and talks her into staying.

I'm intriqued as to weather Donna is playing Jonsey - trading her skills for police protection - or she is genuinely terrified and genuinely fond of Jonsey.

Meanwhile, Susie has called things off with Ben. I was dissapointed in the roundabout, wishy-washy way she did it, not to mention the way he struggled to comprehend it. Poor Ben, but it's really his own fault for falling so hard and fast for what was bound, from the outset, to be a disasterous relationship.

I'm not looking forward to Ben leaving. The episodes in s13 I watched with only Tom seemed to be lacking a comaraderie between the actors that I can see without Jo and am sure will get worse without Ben and PJ. It's ironic, because blowing up the station was meant to lift ratings, but it seems to plummet them instead. Seven.moreless
