The episode opens with the Mt. Thomas high school marching band parading through Main Street. Tom is puffed with pride, and Jo is a little cynical about the antiquates tradition. Then all hell breaks loose as two girls start fighting, calling each other names. It's obvious the fight is over a guy.
One of the girls says she's having a relationship with the young, good-looking music teacher. He, of course, denies it, but the Heelers aren't satisfied. They dig deeper, and discover he was involved with both girls, and gave one of them chalmydia.
He dumps the girl who ratted on him, who resorts to camping out on his lawn, screaming for him to come out. He and his wife and both rattled, but he can't deny it much longer. He attempts to justify his actions - it was their fault, being the teenage temptresses that they are - but the Heelers aren't buying it.
Meanwhile, the parish priest, feels it's not his place to judge the teacher for his actions, since he was infatuated with a female student in his youth. Tom comtrives to find this girl - now a woman - and they ahve a reuinion which puts his mind to rest.
I really enjoyed this episode when it first aired and I really enjoyed watching it again. Blue Heelers at its best.
