On a late-night investigation of a warehouse, Susie shoots Ben in the arm. When interviewed about it, Susie insists she saw a light on, saw an unlocked door, saw an intruder - none of which Ben is sure he saw. Could Susie have set up the situation so she could take a shot at Ben for revenge for shooting and killing her husband Brad a year ago?

The team is on the hunt for the intruder Susie claims to have scene, all the while dealing with a series of safe robberies and credit card frauds. Two of the crimes are eventually linked together in a nice bit of police work, with the typical array of suspects thrown into the mix.

Susie and Jonsey have their usual close comaraderie, ever inching towards getting together (I hope, at least), and there's tension between Susie and Ben which stems from unresolved issues from Brad's death. It was handled nicely, and, having read the synopses of future episodes, I was surprised the writers even thought to put Ben and Susie together, but having seen this episode, I can see some definite chemistry and a connection between the two. Not so much as she has with Jonsey, though. Poor Ben - Maggie, Felicity, Marissa, he has such bad luck with women.

A fantastic episode, reminding me once again why I used to love this show. I watched very sporadically after the station blew up, then gave up altogether when I heard Paul Bishop (Ben) had left. I'm keen to see all those episodes and see how they compare to Classic Blue Heelers.
