Bender and Weeks investigate the death of Norah Mavrin, a high-ranking provincial cabinet minister. At first they think that dirty dealings and backroom bargains are the reason she died, but they soon learn that Norah, a married woman, had no shortage of adulterous lovers on the side, which turns suspicion to her husband Owen. Barrow sends Oosterhuis and Stahl to escort killer Bernie Frank from New York, where he was apprehended by retired staff sergeant Ross Entwhistle, to Canada to stand trial. What they find, though, is an elderly man with early on-set Alzheimers who just wants 'to go home'.moreless

      • Jimmy Weeks: Let me tell you something. If my wife's waiting for some good lovin', I ain't having no drinks at no pub. I'm slapping on the D&G and breaking on the Barry White, and that's it.

      • Jimmy Weeks: Multiple stab wounds tell me that's a crime of passion. Elaine Bender: Yeah, I can see the headline now: "Minister Slain in Queen's Park Love Nest." Jimmy Weeks: Any way they write it, we're in the middle of some kind of ugly.

      ADD NOTES
      • Unfortunately, there is an error with the co-starring credits. The actor names listed are from the episode Janet Green. The co-starring character names are Jarra Akkad, Doug Ardis, Computer Technician, Desk Clerk, Deborah Parks, Assistant State D.A., Physician.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Ronnie Stahl: You are so metrosexual. Oosterhuis is talking about a suit sale where he can pick up a double-breasted, cashmere, navy blue pinstripe suit. Stahl jokes that he is metrosexual, 'a straight guy with an unnatural interest in fashion'.

Weird, no one has discussed Blue Murder yet.
