Joe invites us in. He leads us over to Magenta, Blue and Tickety, who are all part of a band that Blue has formed called Blue's Big Band. Everyone is choosing different instruments and we agree to join in too, clapping our hands. Tickety has us practice by repeating a rhythm that she creates. After paritcipating in some hip-hop with Side Table Drawer so that Joe can get his notebook, we find Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and family, who are creating rhythm with an old washboard. By using rattles, they can actually make music with it. Unfortunately, they have to stop because they need to use it to wash some clothes. Later, we find Periwinkle playing a guitar, although that's not the instrument he's playing the band. He's playing a drum and we follow along as he taps out several different rhythms. In the Blue Skiddoo segment, we meet up with Piano, who wants to tell a musical story. The problem is that Piano has nobody play the piggies in this story. We, Blue and Joe agree to play piggies. After practicing some oinking, we follow along with the music to create the story. It starts with "Brahm's Lullaby" putting us to sleep. We then wake up to a scale of fast notes and then are then urged on to go to school, first by a marching tune and then running to a jazz beat. We make it to the school just in time and the story is complete.
