    • Like on 24, events in this episode definitely do not occur in real-time. The displayed clock starts out 1:40. Later, it reads 1:45, even though only about three minutes have passed. And throughout, the times never really seem to match up.

    • This is the first time that one of the kids in a letter (Steve's Friends) gives him something from the letter.
    • This is the first of two times where Steve didn't actually ask Blue the question for Blue's Clues: He said, "well, it's gonna be hard to wait, Blue, but maybe if we had some hints, or some clues..." Blue then placed the signal pawprint.
    • Angela Santomero is credited as Angela C. Santomero.
    • Mailtime Segment: Steve goes to get the mail, but finds that Mailbox isn't there. It turns out that Mailbox is being held up by something, so he tells Steve to wait a second. Steve does, but then Mailbox says to wait a minute. So Steve actually sits and waits a full minute with us, watching it go by on his watch and then finally Mailbox shows up. In the letter, the kids are shown designing their own clocks and decorating them with faces. They use popsicle sticks for the clock hands, one of which falls out of the letter as a clue.
