Joe welcomes us in, saying that he needs our help. He and Blue are playing hide-and-seek and he wants us to help him find Blue. We see that Blue's hiding behind Joe's duck, Boris, and try to show him, but he doesn't see her, only Boris. Then, Blue heads right to another room and takes Boris with her. We lead Joe there, where he sees Boris and realizes what's going on. He finds Blue, who licks him happily. He compliments us on how helpful we are. There are other things to help with too. For example, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper are making a surprise snack for Blue: blueberry pancakes. They get Joe's and our help to follow the recipe. They need two eggs, two cups of blueberries, two coups of pancake mix and a half a cup of milik. They've got the eggs, but aren't sure what to do with them. We direct them to crack the eggs and place them in the mixing bowl. Next, we select from three different measuring cups which contains two cups worth of blueberries. Next, we do some simple addition, adding one cup of pancake mix and another to make two. Finally, we help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper to choose a measuring cup with a half-cup of milk. We mix them all together and Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper serve the pancakes to Blue. She loves them and Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper are happy that she likes her snack. Then, later, in a Blue Skidoo segment, we help out a number of storybook characters by matching things based on size, color and shape descriptions. We first find Baby Bear, who's planning a porridge party at the area castle. She needs our help finding her bowl. She says that hers is small and purple, with pink dots. We help her find her bowl out of five different ones. Next, we run into Cinderella. She wants to wear her favorite slippers for the porridge party, but is having trouble finding the match for the one she already has. It's yellow with a small, red bow. We find the match for her, once again choosing from five. Finally, we find Gingerbread Man. He's arranging a button pattern for the party and needs the next button in sequence. We see that he's wearing a sequence of Red Star, Green Square and that he needs another Green Square to complete his pattern. Joe congratulates us on helping everyone to get ready for the party.
