Kid: A clue.
Joe: I make you happy, too? That is so nice.
Periwinkle: I love my magic tricks. You wanna see the "best trick ever?"
Joe: The more you practice, Felix, the better you'll be.
Joe: What does it feel like to be a clue?
Joe: I'm still not used to those skiddoos. Miss anything?
Kid: A clue, a clue.
Joe: I missed a clue?
Joe: I'd be nervous, too, if I couldn't find my duck.
Mailtime Segment: Joe asks Mailbox what makes him happy. He says whistling, waving his flag, telling jokes and bringing Joe a letter. In the letter, a girl does things that make her dog happy. She throws her dog a frisbee, gives him water and shakes hands/paws with him.
The music playing during the Mailtime Segment was an instrumental version of "Things I Love to Do" from the audio version of "Blue's Big Treasure Hunt." The character Felix in this episode first appeared in "The Lost Episode!" and the "go back" song is also from that episode. Also, Felix is apparently voiced in this episode by somebody other than who voiced him in "The Lost Episode!"
Joe is wearing a green shirt in this episode.
Angela Santomero is credited as Angela C. Santomero. The list of Joe's Friends at the end of the episode includes "Trevor, of Dawn Animals." This is most likely the dog from the Mailtime segment and the character Trevor in the skidoo segment in this episode may (or may not) be named after the dog.
Joe's song about how happy we make him takes up the closing segment and so he doesn't have time to do the traditional "So Long Song."
