Steve welcomes us in, asking if we want to fly a plane. It turns out that Blue has a toy plane. Steve tells her to start the engine. She tosses the plane and it's a big bust. The plane glides for a short time and then hits the ground. Steve thinks that it's broken, so we agree to help fix it. We look at it and figure out that the wing is broken. Blue puts it back into place and tries flying it again. It works this time, zipping around all over the place. We later find Shovel and Pail, who are outside having one of their little debates about something. It turns out they have two ramps set up to race toy cars down and they want to know whose will go down the ramp faster. We help out, identifying three times which will go faster. If one ramp is higher than the other, a car will go down that ramp faster, ceteris paribus (assuming that everything else is equal.) If the two ramps are inclined equally, then the rate will be the same. Then, Blue has some fun recording Steve with a tape recorder. Steve then uses the tape recorder to tape what Blue sounds like. Blue then skidoos into a gameboard and we go too. We first find a rabbit who doesn't know how to make her tricycle move. Steve thinks that talking to the tricycle and telling it what to do will help, but it turns out all rabbit needs to do is pedal. Next, a pig is trying to go around a curve in the road, but can't figure out how. We show him that he just needs to use the steering wheel to turn, although Steve's first idea is honking the car's horn. Then, we get a panicked call from a chipmunk who can't stop his bike. This is an emergency, so there's no time for Steve's clowning; we tell him to pedal backwards to apply the brakes.
In this episode, Steve plays Blue's Clues to figure out what else we need to fix. The three clues in this episode are:
Clue 1: String
Clue 2: Wind
Clue 3: A Diamond-Shaped Piece of Paper
Based on one or more of these clues, can you figure out what else we need to fix? The correct answer is:
