At one point, Steve uses a tape recorder to record Blue's voice and then hits stop and immediately plays back the recording without rewinding.
Steve: (loudly, yelling to Chipmunk) It looks like a clue! It's got Blue's pawprint on it!
Steve: The clue my friends is blowing in the...
Steve: Wow, are you some kind of ramp wizard or something, or...
Steve: Hi, Shovel and Pail. It's me, Steve. Guy from the house.
Steve: (imitating intercom) Uh, pawprint, you are clear for takeoff.
Steve: You're really good at that fixing stuff.
This episode is on the DVD "Blue's Jobs."
Mailtime Segment: Mailbox asks if Steve knows how letters work and then jokes that it works this way: "I give you a letter and you open it." In the letter itself, three girls have a colorful tape recorder and are figuring out how it works. They tape a message for Steve, rewind the tape recorder and then play it back.
Steve: The clue, my friends, is blowing in the-- (wind blows his hair) -- wind.
This is a reference to the 1963 Bob Dylan song Blowin' in the Wind, which has the line, "The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind"
