Blue's Clues

Steve welcomes us in, saying that he has something he wants us to do: when he yells "now," we should yell "It's Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper Day!" It turns out that he and Blue have created this special day for them to make them feel appreciated. Steve tells them that they always make us feel special by doing this for us and helping us out and things. Paprika shows them a picture that she made to show her appreciation. In this episode, a number of characters have gifts to show their appreciation for the kitchen seasoning duo and we also help them out with their work. Tickety's made a picture of them as well and she attaches it to a maraca as he present. She even made up a cheer for them. Afterwards, they say that they need to get back to cleaning the kitchen. Paprika says that she wants to help out and we agree that we should help too. So we help in a number of ways: by drying the table, clearing the placemats from a table and placing a bottle in the recycle bin. Slippery shows up and presents Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper with a spaghetti sculpture that he made of them because he appreciates how they always make spaghetti for him. Later, we wonder what their favorite things are, so we find a family photo album. We see pictures of Mr. Salt when he was younger - gardening and Mrs. Pepper when she was younger - swimming. We also see that together they enjoy singing.
