The topic of this episode is also dealt with in Blue's Sniffly Day, series book #9. Blue gets a cold and doesn't feel well enough to play with Steve or her friends. They all work together to cheer her up and make her feel better.

In the letter, a boy John, goes to visit a doctor (who also happens to be named John.) He's getting a checkup and the doctor checks his ears and his heart. The boy even gets to check out the stethoscope and hear what his heart sounds like.
