Blue's Clues

Steve invites us in, saying that he's thankful we're here. There's going to be a big dinner in celebration of what everyone is thankful for. He's created a "Thankful Book" and tells us about some of the things he's thankful for: his friends, his green shirt and Blue. He wants our help in figuring out what some of the other characters are thankful for. As we search around, we come across Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. They're preparing for the big dinner and we help them out by figuring out one thing to include in the dinner that is sweet, another thing that is salty and one that is sour. We learn that they're thankful for Paprika and Paprika is thankful for them. We find Shovel and Pail and learn about what they're thankful for: Shovel is thankful for sand and Pail for sun because it helps the garden to grow. Later, as Steve grows more and more eager for the big dinner, we skiddoo into a picture frame, where the felt friends are having a feast of their own. They have lots of food at their feast, but only one of each and aren't sure what to do. We teach them about fractions and sharing, showing them how to split up each thing so that everyone can have enough. Finally, the big Blue's Clues feast is served and Steve shares his Thankful Book with everyone, then finally gets to eat.
