Joe greets us outside, saying that he and Blue are making an Alphabet Train. He shows it to us, but it's looking kind of small. That's because he, Blue and the characters are in the process of attaching boxes for each letter of the alphabet. Each will contain something to reprsent that letter. For example, we pick out an airplane for the letter "A." Next is the letter "B," and since Blue's name starts with that, she can be in that box. Tickety Tock shows up and we help her out by choosing a crayon to go in the "C" box, a drum for the "D" box and finally an eagle for the "E" box. When we meet up with Side Table Drawer, she provides us with a stuffed fox for the "F" box. Next, we choose some more items with Pail. Into the "G" box goes a globe. For the "H" box, we select a hat. Finally, we choose some delicious ice cream for the "I" box. That takes us to "J" and we know a certain someone whose name begins with that. It's our host, Joe. Periwinkle appears with the L K and M boxes. He has an "L" for leaf, a kitten for "K" and mittens for "M." However, he's not sure about that order. Joe sings the alphabet song and realizes that there definitely isn't something right. We help Periwinkle, switching the "L" and the "K" to put the boxes in the right order. Tickety calls us again. She found something for the "N" box, a newspaper - the Daily Skidoo. During our time with Mailbox, he provides us with an oval for the "O" box. Periwinkle and Pail go together in the "P" box. With Slippery, we select a queen for the "Q" box and a rainbow for the "R" box. Slippery himself goes into the "S" box and Tickety goes into the "T" box. Periwinkle appears once again, with a ukelele for our "U" box. To find things for the remaining boxes, we skidoo into a magnet board. There, we find words and then get the objects that go along with them. We choose from a group of four words each time. We choose volcano for "V," wagon for "W" and x-ray for "X." Then, we stumble upon a yo-yo, which goes into the "Y" box.
