Steve and Blue have been reading nursery rhymes, but now it's Tickety's turn and she wants Steve to read her favorite nursery rhyme out loud. Steve begins reading "Mary Had a Little Lamb," but Tickety stops him short - that's not her favorite nursery rhyme. As we try to figure out what her favorite nursery rhyme is, we come upon Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, who are putting together a special lunch. It's special because they only want to include things in it that begin with a "puh" sound. We start by choosing a sandwich - a peanut butter sandwich on pumpernickel bread is determined to be the right choice. Then we add in a snack, pretzels and a drink, pineapple juice. All of it is placed in a purple, paper bag and we're done. Later, we help out a group of toy people in toy cars who want to get past a tollbooth. The tollbooth officer, Julius, is having them solve riddles in order to pass. The riddles are of an analogy type and we solve them and help our friends to pay the toll. Later, we skidoo into a nursery rhyme book. There, we find black sheep from "baa baa black sheep" who's trying to create a rhyming poem. We help her to figure out things that rhyme with what she already has and create a truly funny rhyming poem.
