This is the only episode where Steve and Blue jump into a skidoo picture together. The reason is Blue gets scared of the ghost that appears in front of the Haunted House picture after the Mailtime segment ends.
Shovel and Pails' puzzle is odd in that it apparently contains many extra pieces that don't belong in the puzzle.
David Burger's Assistant Editor credit for this episode is misspelled as "Assisstant Editor." (An extra "s" in "assistant.")
The set of paintings with Magenta painting the barn is in the right order when Steve approaches, but in the wrong order in the close view. (Special thanks to "The Ways of the Blue Dog" for the info.)
Blue finished up her bath and dried off pretty quickly to go appear with Steve during the "So Long Song" and wave goodbye at the window.
Steve suggested to read "A Puppy's Day," a book which he read in another episode, "What Time is It for Blue."
When this episode is shown on Noggin, the Noggin logo at the bottom of the screen entirely blocks out the pawprint on the second clue until the camera angle changes to focus in on it.
In most episodes of Blue's Clues, you can find a total of three small hidden snails.
Blue's Clues is aired in 120 countries and has been dubbed in 15 languages!
There is an error in every single episode. Right after Steve grabs the notebook, Steve and Blue sing a song where Blue pulls out the notebook Steve has in his pocket.
