Periwinkle moved to the Blue's Clues house from the city and ever since then, he's missed his city friend, Plum. Today, Plum, a small, purplish bird, has come over for a visit. Steve, Blue and us go over to meet him and learn that he speaks both Spanish and English. His Dad, Grandma and Grandpa all know Spanish, so he knows it too. He and Periwinkle are having fun making marionetas - puppets with strings. We help them out with making them by helping to place some of the body parts. Plum and Periwinkle point out what area of the body they need a part for and from that, we use logic and a choice of four different body parts in Spanish to figure out which is the correct one. We successfully una cabeza, a head, piernas, legs and pies, feet to the marioneta. Later, we skidoo into a puppet book that Blue borrowed from Plum. There, we find a selection of clothing and a puppet, Pedro, that needs to get dressed. Once again, we use logic and some of the Spanish words we used earlier to help dress Pedro. We get him dressed in pantalones, pants, una gorra, a hat and una corbata for his pies.
