I was half sleep when watching the last episode, but it looked like Jimmy and His mom slept together. Or was I just dreaming?

No, not dreaming. From the very beginning we knew that Jimmy's family was really screwed up and now we know. Jimmy not only banged his mother but killed his father. Quite an episode.

Since the beginning i've been wondering how far they were gonna take the "weirdness" between Jimmy and his mother, and now I know, just gotta say i'm glad they went there, not entirely sure why but I am and I think the whole thing was handled quite well

As disturbing as the scene was, I'm glad it wasn't gratuitous. It explained what really really drove Jimmy outta Princeton. And it showed how selfish/lonely/obsessed his mother truly is. She has absolutely ZERO boundries apparently.

Yeh, yikes. They've been giving off that "too close for mom+son" vibe for a while, I think that's one of the things Jimmy's wife hated.

The mother was essentially raped at a really really young age.. I think she was like 12. Besides being close age-wise, that had to have messed her up.

frack this oedipus complex bs, this show is just stupid....they went for the shock factor instead of good plot. this is something you might expect to see from a show like American Horror Story, not a show with Scorsese's name on it...yuk!
