In the anime, Don Patch was in the box that the bear was delivering to Bo-BoBo. In the manga, however, it was Beauty who was in the box (sort of, she was sleeping while sitting in it). Heppokomaru (or Gasser) sent her in the box to Bo-BoBo after she was attacked by one of the Hair Hunter troops.
Don Patch: (dressed up in a chicken costume; charging at Kodebun) Bawk! Can you read my mind?! If a feathered fowl hits a foul ball, where's the foul language?!
Beauty: This doesn't make sense!
Don Patch: Toughen up, soldier! This place is a battlefield.
Bo-BoBo: I completely agree with that. (to Beauty) You've been acting like a girl lately.
Beauty: (angrily) I - I have?! Ohh!
Narrator: Beauty begins anger management class on Tuesday.
Bo-BoBo: Tater tots, tater tots! I want salty, crispy tater tots! (starts crying) And there was only one left, and he ate it!
Beauty: So, that means you have to turn into a tank and blow him up?
Bo-BoBo: (still crying) Yeah, why not?
Teacher: We'll now have the graduation ceremony, followed by a car wash. When your name is called, please come get your diploma along with a bucket and sponge.
Bo-BoBo: Here, I want you to have this. It's frozen pork rind soup. Well, it was frozen when I bought it last week.
Don Patch: That's enough, mama!
Bo-BoBo: Don't you understand I'm doing everything I can for you?!
Bo-BoBo: Well, I guess we have to deliver. Let's charge the place. I'm adding in the tip.
Beauty: I never knew Don Patch was a student.
Bo-BoBo: When's recess?
Raccoon: Package for you. Hot meal delivery service. Well, it was hot when I left.
Beauty: I don't see Don Patch anywhere, do you?
Bo-BoBo: I don't see, I don't know, and I don't care.
Beauty: You're just a big oaf with no feelings!
(Bo-BoBo starts crying)
Beauty: Oh, I'm sorry, Bo-BoBo. Where did you learn to be so sensitive?
Bo-BoBo: Drama class!
Beauty: Is that also where you learned to act like a buffoon?!
This is also the first appearance of Ya-Ya the doll.
This episode covers volume 1 chapters 7 and 8 of the Bo-bobo manga.
When Bo-BoBo and the stuffed bears do squatting exercises in front of Don Patch's school, they chant "Purukogi," which is a derivative of the popular Korean dish bulgogi. Bibimbap, another Korean dish, is also mentioned at the end of the exercise.
Original Japanese Title: "Bababa-ba Ba-Baba! The Great King Nose Hair?"
