I really did give Bob's Burgers plenty of shots to see if it got better, and it failed to do so. The show is about a man named Bob and his family, Linda, Tina, Gene, and Louise, running a burger joint. This show was apparently trying to fill in the void of King of the Hill, but failed miserably. I did not like the humor at all in this show at all. I think they were going for dry humor, but it fails a lot, and Gene would always do fart jokes, and while it got a laugh out of me, it just doesn't work. I really don't like the kids in this show. Louise is very annoying and not funny at all. Gene is just stupid and not in the funny way at all, and constantly uses a megaphone for robotic voices or farts, and it got on my nerves really fast, and the show focused a lot of attention on him thinking he is funny. Tina is just plain weird and does not do anything in this show aside from telling her family she is sick. Linda is tolerable, but an airhead who barely got any laughs from me. Bob did provide me with some laughs here and there, but not enough to sustain the show. The artwork and animation though is decent and has the feeling of the Home Movies show done by this shows creator. The plots are OK, and decent, but nothing too special like Bob having a dilemma with killing a cow was rather boring, and predictable. I was really saddened to see how Loren Bouchard, co-creator of Home Movies, and executive producer, Jim Dauterive, writer of King of the Hill, created this show and this is not their best work. In the end for me this show just doesn't do it at all. The characters are annoying, the stories range from decent to lazy and bland, and the humor is barely there. I don't think this show deserves another season at all, and even if it did get one there needs to be some serious work on it to make it watchable again. Get it together Loren Bouchard you can do better than this, but at least this show is funnier than The Cleveland Show.
