So Megan's father was murdered, Great Episode, Great Show, interesting cast, Lorraine Toussaint, i used to watch you in "Any Day Now" with Annie Potts. Dana Delany you were very good in that TV Show "China Beach" that was a Great Show with Robert Picardo & Marg Helgenberger, i used to watch that a lifetime ago. Of course I say this with respect, Jeri Ryan you are looking very thin in this show, you looked better in Star Trek:Voyager & even then you wore a corset that was so tight you really couldn't even sit down in. (Just Worried There Ain't Much Difference Between Our Age).moreless

    • Dr. Kate Murphey: Angela, I would never presume to tell you how to discipline your people.
      Chief Angela Martin: Good.
Dr. Kate Murphey: But as far as I'm concerned, this was a perfect example of our two departments cooperating to solve a case. I'd much rather a few feathers get ruffled than lose our initiative. So do I cut Megan a lot of slack? Yes, because time after time, she's earned it. And I have no intention of reining her in.
Chief Angela Martin: Now, Kate, you are an aspiring politician. You know you should never take a position that you can't walk back when your supporters tell you to.
Dr. Kate Murphey: You're right. I should know better. So here's another position I can't walk back. You can keep your endorsement. I'll take my chances without it.

    • Det. Adam Lucas: Listen, I-I got the greatest respect for Megan as a doctor. But she let you down more than once. You want to keep on, like, running into that when you got this attractive woman, she's chasing you about?
Det. Tommy Sullivan: You know, you're probably not gonna believe this but, someday, having an attractive woman chase you around isn't gonna be all that.
Det. Adam Lucas: You're right. I don't believe you.

    • Dr. Kate Murphey: Angela, I sympathize with you. I do. I don't like putting out fires either. But you're gonna like it a hell of a lot less when a case comes along that you can't close because you've shut this office out and, somehow, the press gets wind of it.
Chief Angela Martin: Is that a threat?
Dr. Kate Murphey: It's an inevitability.
