I liked the episode and I have my suspicions that Megan's father is still alive... I wouldn't mind it but if that is true please do that right and don't screw up the show

    • Trent Marsh: Any chance I'll be seeing you again?
Dr. Megan Hunt: Eventually. Everyone does.

    • Judge Joan Hunt: (about her husband's suicide) Why do you keep questioning me about something that happened a lifetime ago? The coward killed himself, Megan.
Dr. Megan Hunt: What if he didn't?
Judge Joan Hunt: Oh, please. Not that conversation again. I know that your precious father can do no wrong in your eyes. How could he? He hasn't had thirty five years to become the disappointment to you that I obviously have.
Dr. Megan Hunt: Why now? Why are you showing this to me now?
Judge Joan Hunt: Because I think you should stop living under the assumption that there's an answer to every question. Why did he do it? I don't know. But give it up, Megan. I did.
      Dr. Megan Hunt: No. Never.

    • Dr. Megan Hunt: (about Kate announcing her candidacy) Why didn't you tell me?
Dr. Kate Murphey: Well, because for one thing, you've accused me of having divided focus and I don't want that again.
Dr. Megan Hunt: Ah. So you've been burning the candle at both ends, and it's weighing on you.
Dr. Kate Murphey: No, I'm fine.
Dr. Megan Hunt: If that were so, you wouldn't be wearing your BDB.
      Dr. Kate Murphey: My what?
Dr. Megan Hunt: Bottom-drawer blouse. The one you've got on is much too last season for you. That, and the fact that you're wearing the same pants and shoes as you did yesterday can mean only one thing. That you slept on the couch last night, pulled out your BDB, freshened up, thought nobody would be the wiser.
Dr. Kate Murphey: Do you have an off switch?
      Dr. Megan Hunt: No.
Dr. Kate Murphey: I really do hate you sometimes.

    • Dr. Megan Hunt: We're at a dead end.
Det. Tommy Sullivan: So we let it be. Karma killed him. You know what? Honestly, I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.
Dr. Megan Hunt: What's going on with you? You don't like the victim so you stop doing your job?
