This is a busy office. Everyday patients file in and out. Appointments are made, bills are paid and surgeries are performed. But sometimes the unexpected can disrupt this well-oiled machine. Computers break down, toilets overflow and cleaning becomes an issue. For any office these are annoying problems, but for a plastic surgeon's office even more so. Appearances are everything, and we'll soon see how they handle this challenge. Outside the office, Dr. Kelly and Dr. Herman test their competitive edge further and race each other to the finish line at the Miami racetrack. Kathy is a patient returning for more cosmetic surgery — always reaching for perfection. At 47, she has already had a nose job, a tummy tuck, an eyelift and is now back for a breast augmentation and a little lipo. She is married with children and spends most of her day working out in the gym with her loyal trainer, Leo. At her pre-exam with Dr. Herman, she tries on different breast shapes to determine size, but asks Leo to come in for his opinion. At home her family kids her about the surgeries, but this is something that clearly makes her happy. Ever since she was a little girl, appearances have been important. She never goes out without makeup — even to the gym. Back in Dr. Wolf's office, he is examining 19-year-old Jessica. A very tall, beautiful girl with an irreverent sense of humor, Jessica has trouble breathing and wants to fix her nose, which she says is big and hook-like. Jessica's brother Sal had the same exact problems and had his nose done by Dr. Wolf as well. In the meantime, Dr. Kelly is consulting with 37-year-old Rachel. After childbirth she was unable to lose the weight from her tummy and is now having it tightened. Rachel is under particular stress since her husband left her for a 28-year-old woman. Now filing for divorce, she is feeling that finally she is doing something for herself. As each patient goes into surgery there is some nervousness, but all the operations are successful. Jessica, however, is having a hard time — she is uncomfortable and, after getting the packing and cast off, is back in Dr. Wolf's office because there is a mysterious bump on her nose. Dr. Wolf feels certain it will go away, but Jessica is understandably upset. As predicted, it soon disappears, and she is thrilled with the results and back on the beach with her brother tossing a football. Kathy is about to embark on a new career as a manager for Leo, who is doing his first rap recording session, and Rachel is at the beach — in a bikini — with her 9-year-old son, Matthew.moreless
