- 4/20/88In this first sequel to the series, Aaron Cartwright, Ben's brother, now runs the Ponderosa. He approves mining on their property, over the objections of ranch foreman Charlie Poke. A young man named Josh arrives, claiming he's the illegitimate son of the late Hoss. Josh discovers that the mining company is destroying the land with their methods, brings it to Aaron's attention who puts a stop to their efforts.moreless
