Ok if you have ever seen Bonanza it will not be a big surprise that Colonel Bragg is the cause for all the troubles of the Carthwrights. If I were Ben I wouldn't invite old friends all the time to the Ponderosa. Again after Day of the Dragon there is a good mix of humour and sinister violent scenes. For a Bonanza Episode Colonel Bragg (John McGiver) as former Military companion of Ben is a more complex character as usually. John McGiver makes a perfect switch between a funny eccentric to a sinister baddy. Also it was fun to see Hoss as a sort of Womanizer. The plot might not be new but the episode is quite entertaining.
