    The focus of this episode is on Ray Teal (Sheriff Roy Coffee). Usually he was only played a handful of scenes in the episodes he appeared in and usually as a foil or a sounding board for the Cartwrights. This episode gave Teal the chance to show that he was more than capable and that it was possible to have an episode centred on Roy Coffee.
