    • TRIVIA (2)

      • In the scene at the Sheriff's office where Sheriff Coffee (Ray Teal) is talking to Laurie (Joan Van Ark) with Hoss (Dan Blocker) there. Ray Teal (Coffee) calls her by her real name, i.e., Joan rather than her character Laurie when he says, "Well Joan, the deputy is waiting outside...."

I actually was impressed by Blocker and Van Ark keeping their composure and moving on in the scene. Although I did detect a little "cringe" on Blocker which made me laugh a little.

      • Plot Hole: Laurie is seen holding the gun to her husband inside the cabin with with him looking down the barrel. When next seen, Laurie is with the sheriff filling out a report explaining that she's killed her husband - which we later find out is not true. But what really happened between Annie and her husband? Why she was let go in the first place? The only reasonable explanation is that she made a deal with her husband for Hoss's safety. Hoss was just outside waiting with Adams and they would have heard a shot fired and would have come barging in. Wouldn't Hoss and Adams have immediately gone inside to see the body? Wouldn't they have questioned why they didn't hear a gunshot?
