      • Adam: Will, listen to me. Weeks ago my father tried to point out to me that I wasn't so much in love with Laura as I was with the idea of being married – of having a home. But I wouldn't listen to him. I was too intrigued with building that house – but these past few weeks of lying in bed and this wheelchair have given me a chance to realise that my father was right.

      • Joe: Just the same, I don't think it's fair to Laura. I really don't cause people who are engaged are supposed to miserable when they're not together all the time.
