    Another SN interview...

'Everyone is going to know, when the show comes back (that Bones is pregnant)...Shucks!! Another moment spoiled for us Stephen! But it's not something that either SN or HH or TPTB really care about...

After reading this interview, after having SN imply that the audience wanted porn and weren't getting it, UUHHHGGG!! That's not what we wanted! We wanted a kiss! we wanted a confession of love! We wanted Brennan to admit she was ready to let him into her heart! We wanted Booth to say he still wanted to be with her after she rejected him a year ago! They have spent 6 years building up to THAT MOMENT! The fact that they SN and HH not only think it unnecessary but trivial is just insulting!

I've been a fan of this show for 6 years, from the day it first aired. It quickly became my favorite show. This season was hard, and I have been losing faith in it, but I kept believing it would get better. I was sure the season finale would give the audience what they have built up to for years. I'm over it! It's too bad, because the cast is excellent, but the writers didn't think it was important to give us a decent climax!

Interestingly, I seem to stand alone. I was not insulted. HH and SN get a lot of stuff thrown their way from fandom online. I am sure they sometimes feel like all they hear is bickering and complaining because people don't take the time to explain themselves properly. It would even seem at times that a portion of fandom would prefer that HH and SN bow down to them. They just won't do it. But anyway, I am just not in the camp of people who needed a kiss or to hear them confess their love or Brennan say she was ready to let him in. For me their actions spoke loud and clear. I mean the subtle ones because obviously there was nothing so overt as a making love scene or a kiss or a "let's now officially become a couple" scene. I most definitely can understand why others want to see them speak the words or them making love but it's just such a non issue for me.

People have let their expectations of what they want get in the way of the story. Speculating and having theories is one thing but when people turn it into an expectation for something they don't have control over then they're setting themselves up for possible disappointment. Besides no one can please everyone. I am sorry you ended up disappointed and insulted.

EDIT: I apologize if this post doesn't make sense. I end up awake for nearly 24 hours once I get up on Monday. I should really nap before I have to go to work but I am usually finishing laundry or like last night enjoying my 57th billion viewing of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Or what not.

What do you mean you stand alone? You do not stand alone, I stand there with you.

I too am not insulted by the way things unfolded. I've made many posts pointing out that I think the way things unfolded fits much more in character with Booth and Brennan.

Take heart, you' are not alone...

you're definately not alone, as I have said before too. I stand there with you too! I'm not insulted by the way things unfolded at all, I thought it was actually very sweet!

The finder is a spinoff program that will preview in the fall. There was a bones episode, titled " the finder" which introduced the character, and had Bones & Booth working with him & his team to solve a murder case. Basically, he has a knack of finding things people have lost or misplaced, or in the case of the bones episode, a map to where there was supposed to be sunken treasure. That's pretty basic, however, I hope it helps you out a bit!

Oh well, she was saying she was insulted by SN comment and I was just saying I wasn't. I know I don't stand alone as far as the story stuff goes. It's why in the season finale thread I said that whatever Matt says on the subject everyone could assume that I agree with it because I was agreeing with him all the time. I guess I wasn't clear but maybe it still translates to the same thing. I seem to be in zombie tonight and I have had plenty of sleep. I am glad I am not alone.

It's not going to be a full season as it's sharing the same time slot as Bones. Bones will air in the Fall of 2011 in the Thu 9PM time slot, thenThe Finderwill premiere midseason in 2012 for 13 episodes (that's the usual midseason episode order, it may be less) and then Bones will return in the Spring of 2012. This will probably also shorten the Bones season as it will have the usual holiday breaks, the baseball playoffs, and sharing time with The Finder.

Bones Season 7 starts this Fall 2011, then will be interrupted when the Baseball playoffs begin, then we'll have a few more Bones episodes after the playoffs, then it'll be the holiday breaks. After the holidays, The Finder will air in January 2012 in Bones time slot for 9-13 episodes. After that in Spring 2012, Bones will return for the rest of its season.

My guess for the upcoming Bones season 7 is:

September: Bones Season 7 premieres, we get 3, maybe 4 episodes depending on how early in September they start.

    October: MLB Playoffs

November: Bones returns for November Sweeps period with 4 episodes

December: Maybe we get a couple of episodes, then repeats start airing for the holiday break

January: The Finder premieres, probably runs for 9 episodes at maximum (4 in January, 4 in February, 1 in first week of March)

Spring (March?): Bones returns for remaining episodes (12 episodes probably left to air, 4 in rest of March, 4 in April, 4 in May)

Bones has been picked up for a full 22 episode season which makes me think that the Finder can at most be airing for 9 episodes as a Midseason Show as the only way for Bones to air all 22 episodes without running into Summer 2012.

I was thinking the other day, trying to survive until September without new Bones. And I was thinking about Brennan's Grandfather.

Considering what we now know about Max and her mum, what are the odds that the man who took her out of foster care was her actual grandfather. Hart Hanson still says that her granfather got her out, that she didn't age out of the foster system.

what if the grandfather who got her out was actually the real Matthew Brennans father?

Max said that Christine (Ruth) was his only family, and he had to tell her about her Aunts. If her grandfather was real, what are the odds that she wouldn't (A) know them (B) know at least a little of the truth of her parents.

It would be an interesting storyline in season 7, and I think now that she is having a child, Brennan will be anxious to know the whole truth of her past and where she came from.

I think that Brennan's 'grandfather', although alluded to her in S1 was never meant to be mentioned again...It was thought after some time when we learned that Max/Matthew had no relatives, that said 'grandfather' (a)was just a story Bones spun Booth when she did not know him too well so that she would not have to talk about what happened to her in the system or (b) a rather large inconsistency/faux pas on the parts of SN and HH...As time has gone by, I think that the general consensus is that we should forget about said grandfather...Although, should Bones be renewed for many seasons to come, only God knows what the PTB will put into it!!!

hey all. im back lol its been an while i forgot how to post for a moment there XD. fail i know.

i went almost the entire season and i got to tell you holy freakin crap its weird not knowing whats goig to happen.

when i found out about Brennan's pregnancy my mouth dropped, litterally, followed by an imediate "..huh?" then "WTF! how the H*** did that happen?" my theory for a while was that after booth said that she would wanna be a mother after seeing Angela's baby then meeting the girl from signs she realized it was true then decided to use his stuff to make it happen.

no. sadly not true *sigh*. apparently they finnaly DID do it and HH and SN didnt show it. D***. im not exactly offended so much as confused as to why they didnt give us ANYTHING before then. i mean i had my hope about that moment too but when it passed without actually showing anything i just passed it off as them falling asleep with maybe 1 kiss based on Brennans reaction when she informed Angela of what happened.

hopefully next season we will get a)an insight to what DEFINITLY happened. b) a scene as well as explanation of how it evolved or it actually happening c)good B&B preg moments and talks d) evolution in their relationship e) FBI reaction to the situation as well as the issues it created.

these are my hopes. maybe i'll get lucky
