    Cankles!

Hahahaha! I cracked up during that entire scene in that episode! The girls and their interaction with Brennan was just too funny.

Booth dragging her away at the end always makes me think of a scene from Gilmore Girls....

Brennan: Are Rangers afraid of SEALs?
Booth: What? Come on, Bones. No. Rangers aren't afraid of anybody. All right? SEALs are pretty good though.

can i ask what episode they say this?

    thank you!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's near the end of season 1. Episode 18.

I need some good trademark BB "look/smile" bits (y'all know the ones I mean) for a video... if you can think of some scenes where I'd find some, that'd be great.

I'll try to find some for you when I get a chance, but right off the bat, the scene with Booth and Brennan outside the diner when they're talking about more than one kind of family. Also, it's not a look or a smile, but when Booth is in the hospital at the end of Two Bodies, and Brennan tries to put her head on Booth's shoulder. Also, if I remember correctly, there were some looks in Skull in the Desert.

Which episode is it where Brennan says she doesn't want to "shake things up"? I've seen this scene lately in the TNT commercials for Bones, but I've watched almost all of season 1 and I can't find it.

She says "I'm not gonna declare it a murder so you can 'shake things up'" in the third S1 episode, A Boy In A Tree. That the one you were looking for?

Thanks. I'll have to check out Skull In The Desert, I mostly remember the Angela bits from that one.

That must be why I don't remember seeing it. My DVD has a problem playing that episode. Thanks for letting me know which episode it is.

I may be wrong about Skull in the Desert Hirundine, I haven't watched it in a while. I thought she gave him a look when he walked in the door and maybe again at the end. I'll try and re-watch some episodes, but I have a lot of homework, so I may have to wait until like Sunday.

You can try Superhero in the Alley too. It has some pretty good scenes. And the infamous "Don't give me your charm smile" line. And the whole "writers reveal a lot of their world views in their writing."

Found a few in Superhero In The Alley, including the "charm smile" and the discussion about being an anthropologist with superpowers. I'd forgotten about the episode, actually. Thanks.
I'd show what I was working on that needed so many smile-y bits , but apparently there's some copyright filter on Photobucket that's blocking the upload. The song I had was "When You Say Nothing At All," though, so I needed some nonverbals.

A good non verbal look at the end of two bodies after Booth pulls Brennan of that rope that shes tied too, and she puts her head on his shoulder

    Oh, definitely have that one.

Hm, I should go through the clips I have, see how many episodes are represented there. It's a four-minute song, so....

Twenty-some episodes so far, including but not limited to:

Aliens in a Spaceship (smiling at each other after he saves her)
Boneless Bride in the River (the "everything happens eventually" scene at the dock)
Headless Witch in the Woods (the "guy hug")
A bunch, of course, from Two Bodies in the Lab
Mac'n'Cheese smile from Glowing Bones in the Old Stone House
"You're not a bad anything" from... aw, forgot the episode.
Girl With The Curl (ordering takeout and "you're structured very well" smiles)
Boy In The Time Capsule ("I'm not Philistine, I'm Catholic" smile)
Widow's Son in the Windshield ("The center must hold" smile)
And so many more... you don't notice a lot of them unless you're looking for them, I've discovered. Half of these I had to just think about the dialogue and draw the conclusion that there must be a smile somewhere in the scene.
