Time to go, but I'll leave a goodbye gift for everyone.

Hirundine and I must be fairly close to one another (location wise). You'll all have a lot more ground to cover than us because we get to share the responsibility. And Hirundine, I'm LOVING that picture.

Ah, but we're in the heart of Bones alien territory, BBLovin... the country in which the show is set! Makes sense we'd need more backup, just in case.

And Maron-chan, it would be fun to have everyone make alien-themed picture captions.

Yeah, maybe we should decide that everyone has to do an alien picture caption at least once, maybe once a week... That would be fun!

I'll do one as soon as I can. And you make a good point Hirundine. We need to recruit a member from D.C. though.

"Why do I always feel like you're abducting me?" Maybe he's trying to pretect Brennan from something that would've gotten her by keeping her constantly moving! Haven't you noticed he tries to do that when she's sitting still?

Maybe he's *keeping* her from being abducted. If she sits still too long, the Jupiterians (or perhaps even the Plutonians!) can get a fix on her position and beam her up to one of their dank, sunless prison cells so Cam no longer has any competition.

Or maybe Plutonians don't like Cam as their Empress (a lot of fans don't like her, so why should her people?) and want Brennan to become their Empress since she's related to Cam and the royal family...

Oooh, taking Cam off the throne. Would make sense, since Pluto was supposedly under her rule when it was demoted. Way to take care of your planet, Cam.

Plus, Brennan has blue eyes... well-suited to low-light areas like Pluto. I wonder if Booth knows about any of the politics behind this, or if he only knows that someone's trying to take his Brennan away.

He probably only has his gut feeling that someone wants to abduct Brennan, since, if I remember correctly, he doesn't know Cam is an Empress or is an alien at all (that he was supposed to marry). He just wants to protect Brennan from the unknown. I wonder if Brennan will ever know that she's royal and if Booth will ever be the Imperator of Pluto since he marries someone of the family (and I don't mean Cam )

Maybe, MAYBE, Brennan, as lesser royalty, was indoctrinated at a very young age (or maybe there's sort of Plutonian birth-information-transfer thing, like a genetic memory), that she was not to marry, thus ensuring smooth sailing for Cam when it was time for Booth to come to Earth... I mean, if they expected him to eventually marry the one Plutonian, they must have anticipated that he might accidentally fall for the other in the meantime if proper precautions weren't taken (turns out, of course, that their precautions were woefully insufficient ). That's why she's so strongly against marriage now.

That's a very interesting theory, I would never have thought about it that way, but yeah, there has to be a reason why Brennan is against marriage and such. Now, when we've clarified (?) what's the reason behind that, we might actually be able to figure out why Brennan is so pop-culture-newbie and her most common saying is "I don't know what that means". And why she's so smart and only cares about her work...

Maybe she really does remember a little about her Plutonian heritage, but she doesn't believe it, herself... she thinks she's crazy, and she buries herself in her work to block it out.
Or, she could have simply been raised to be a "lab rat" to make sure she was practically Booth's opposite, lowering the danger of them running into each other a lot; and if they did meet, keeping her from seeming too much like Booth's "type." Also, they needed to channel her unexpected intelligence into something that wouldn't be destructive to their plans... what would they have done if she'd become a conspiracy nut like Hodgins? No way they'd be able to carry out their plot.

But they didn't count on Booth's willingness to teach or Brennan's readiness to learn ... after all, at this rate, she'll foil their plans whether she knows about them or not.
