  • Great episode – finally some info on the Gormogon artifacts and an in-house murder.

    10
    "Perfect"
The first of hopefully many episodes about the fascinating Gormogon.

The murdered girl, Kristen, proves to be one of the scientists working on the widow collection. Very interestingly, the artifacts have been tied to a specific group, Gormogon who wanted to eradicate the influence of the Illuminati and Freemasons. Fascinating, hope they elaborate further.

"No shooting of the squints tonight, sorry." Does it not occur to Zach and Hodgins to perhaps warn people before throwing a body off a building? Why is the victim's father allowed to watch the interrogation?

Everyone wanted it to be a serial killer because then it's not one of their own but also because a serial killer is more glamorous and exciting. Despite her work on the Gormogon artifacts, instead she gets killed because she stumbled onto a smuggling operation. Wrong place, wrong time.

Very good episode, found out more about the mysterious artifacts and an in-house murder investigation.
  • Loved this episode! Definitely in my top 5!

Great episode. Hart Hanson, the rest of the scriptwriters and the director manage to make the viewer forget that you don't actually leave the Jeffersonian for 90% of the episode.

It's a classic in-house whodunnit with Gorgonzola (sorry... Gormogon :P) acting as the red herring amidst extra-martial affairs and a smuggling operation. The murder mystery is superbly supported by the humour between the main characters that Bones is so famous for. And it's great to see the Angelator making a significant contribution to the solving of the case.

Episode Highlights: Booth guessing Brennan's passwords "Daffodil, Daisy Jupiter."

Interplay between Booth, Cam and Cam's sister Felicia

Guy chat between Hodgins and Booth

    The sweet B&B ending.

In this episode of Bones, the following happens. We open this episode with burnt remains being found in the Jeffersonian building's incinerator. We learn that the victim worked at the Jeffersonian and so does the killer. When Angela looks at the skull, she sees a face, but doesn't tell Bones or Cam about it, instead, she leaves the room. Soon she tells Bones that she has IDed the victim and that it is Kristen, who worked as an intern. We learn that she and Angela had had lunches a few times and that she was dating someone else who worked there, and that he is a married man. Cam asks Booth if he will pretend to be her boyfriend, at a party for her father's 60th birthday. Soon when standing by a window talking about the case, a body falls down on to the ground below. And when Booth and Bones race outside, we see all security guards there holding Zach and Hodgins. It looks like just another one of their experiments. We soon learn that the victim was stabbed to death, before her fall. Cam's sister picks Cam and Booth up for the party and when Cam goes to get something, her sister kisses Booth. Soon the main suspect is found dead, after apparently hanging himself. Soon the team learn that the death of the intern was in fact an accident. Soon the team find out who killed and staged the suicide and soon he is arrested.
  • It's like Clue. Murder in the Jeffersonian strikes fear into the hearts of its employees. Two unexplained murders cast suspicion over the squints and their friends at the lab.

It's like clue. If you like the board game then you'll like this episode. The tone of the episode is really eerie. Everything down to the transition slides are creepy. The producers behind this episode really got the job right. While it could be argued that episode is wildly misleading, which I think it is, the twists and turns only make the episode better. At the beginning we think it's connected to the gormogon case. Then the head honcho at the Jeffersonian threatens Angela and it gave me the wiggins. While this doesn't clearly through us off the track, it's pretty spooky. The music and background noises in this episode are perfectly in line with the atmosphere of the installment. Overall I think The Intern in the Incinerator is well-crafted and out of the ordinary.
  • So this was a completely different episode than those that have been done before. And at the very beginning you are led to believe that this is a Gormogon related case.

    "Superb"
And I also think that it shows Booth's fear of the Gormogon case that he constantly mispronounces it.

Just goes to prove that even people with high IQ's can be led to believe what you want them to believe. I did find it hard to believe that she had the affair with that obnoxious doctor. He was a bit of a jackass. But they sure do seem to make Cam a little slow on the uptake. After all she didn't get to be in the position that she is in by being a little on the dumb side. So I wish that they would write stuff for her character a little smarter. I did like the fact that the episode gave you insight on Cam's family life. And the rivalry with her sister just added more touches of reality. And the fact that she asked Booth to be her "Boyfriend" to satisfy her family well that is just pushed it over the top. She must be from the South because I thought only us southerners had family like that.

Other than that it was a great show. The reason I love this Cop drama so much more than the others is that 9 times out of 10 it isn't the guy that I think it is from the beginning. And my friends that makes this show. GREAT!
  • A feel-good episode. Other filler episodes in the series could learn tons from this one.

    9.1
    "Superb"
This is an important episode for the series. By relying on another "murderer of the week" storyline, the writers saw a way to focus more on the characters themselves. This is the first Bones episode where I can say I laughed my head off, for there were more than a few moments when it felt like the series could challenge genre conventions and become a "thrilling dramedy" - that is, a thriller, a drama, and a comedy. As I stated in the summary, "filler' episodes to come could learn a lot from this one. I can't wait to see what Bones does next.
  • Bones and Booth get drunk.

    "Superb"
When a burned body is found in the Jeffersonian incinerator it becomes clear soon that the victim worked there and is identified as an intern that was working the Gormogon serial killer vault.

Now the Squints start jumping to the conclusion that Gormogon is one of their own, much to Booth's chagrin who does not believe it.

The case has some nice twists and turns and keeps us guessing. In the end it is not as it may have seemed.

What I really liked about this episode was that Zack and Hodgins are doing experiments again.

The faces of Booth and Bones were priceless when the dummy was dropped from the roof. "Was that what I think it was?" and "No shooting of the Squints tonight!" Priceless.

The ending scene with Bones and Booth having some shots in his office was nice. The question of betrayal will come up again, I'm sure of it.

Intern in the Incinerator was a solid and engaging episode.
  • Even squints have issues

It was an entertaining episode. Someone was killed at the Jeffersonian and every one is a little bit scared of who could´ve done it. I never imagined they could possibly think that Hodgins can be Gormogon. It was silly how Cam being a grown, mature woman, can be afraid of what her father can say. I mean, in these days of feminism she can´t tell her dad she´s still single. And the whole competition with her sister was like a filler for the episode and Booth is a very good friend for supporting her. Brennan seemed a little upset when Cam mentioned she and Booth had had dinner together...

I love those B&B moments. The last scene was very nice, the two of them having some drinks and talking. I just wish Booth´s answer would´ve been "never".

  • Inside job... squints kill too.

    9.5
    "Superb"
Good good episode. An inside job... that's new to the show.

So the password scene, what a cute way to show us how much Booth knows about Brennan. Subtle, cute, funny... gotta love how they throw us BB moments.

Cam and Angela questioning Hodgins about being the Gormogon was fun. If they wanted to commit murder (Hodgins, Brennan and Zack) they would be really hard to catch.

Cam's piece was fun... liking Cam more and more. Hodgins laughing about the kiss situation was funny and liked how Booth approached Hodgins for advice... shows trust and friendship.

Oh the "body" falling while BB were talking very fun.

"Are you going to betray me?" He wouldn't dare, he's a dead man if he does... the squints would kill him and nobody would ever find the body.

Liked the dark tone of the music, it looked like I was watching one of those old mystery movies (like Agatha Christie based ones).
  • Script pretty interesting.

Having a murderer in the Jeffersonian has everyone on edge but makes for an interesting plot and script. Also interesting is Booth playing Cam's boyfriend while getting hit on by his sister. Our crime begins with an intern down the incinerator shaft. But that wasn't how she was killed. Then it's determined that the intern is the daughter of a former big wig with the Jeffersonian. Then they find out that she was having an affair with another married big wig who is still working for the Jeffersonian. But surprise, he's murdered before he can be brought up on charges. But come to find out it has to do with a smuggling ring that was working out of the Jeffersonian. And a member of the Jeffersonian is behind it all. Looks like the Jeffersonian needs to do some house cleaning. I loved the scenes between Booth and Brennan tonight. From Booth knowning Brennan's passwords to doing shots.
  • A body is found in the incinerator at the Jeffersonian - on Bones' home turf.

    9.0
    "Superb"
The show opens with two maintenance guys finding a body in the incinerator and making a comment about "definitely not pork". As always, this show has a great, if dark, sense of humor. In trying to figure out who the victim was, I found it interesting that simply by looking at the skull Angela could figure out the identity. It reminded me of the way Brennan is able to read bones to tell if a person played tennis or gazed up at the stars a lot, etc. It was a nice touch in my opinion to show how intune Angela was as an artist in doing the facial reconstructions. These folks are all at the top of their perspective games. Completely understandable why they work for the Jeffersonian. Half the team thinks its the gormagon (sp?) who is involved in killing the young woman. (Cannibal baddie from earlier episode this season) It was funny that Brennan got to name the canibal baddie yet to be found, and even funnier that a body fell by the window they were arguing over the name in front of, and then down right hilarious when the falling body happened to be one of Zach and Hodgins' experiments. The levity is always so cleverly woven into the clues about the case. In the end, the killer ended up being one of the Jeffersonian scientists, as we knew it had to be. Booth and Brennan had a heart to heart about it over paper-cup shooters. This was a fun, cleverly written episode that exemplifies what I like about this show. Looking forward to whatever else we have coming and hoping that the writers strike doesn't ruin the arc that had been planned.
  • Gorgonzola, sorry Gormagon returns?!?!?!

    8.8
    "Great"
When there's a murder at the Jeffersonian and the team find it's one of there own all fingers point to Gormagon because of the artefacts from the Widows Son in the Windshield which she was working on.

The team pounce into action and after some investigation work discover that the dead girl was having an affair with not only a marred man but another employee of the Jeffersonian, naturally all fingers point to this employee Dr Aldridge whos taken in for questioning, however when he's found dead at the Gormagon artefacts the case is put back a step until Hodges and Zack find a smuggling ring going on that involves the Jeffersonian.

I laughed so much when Booth was getting Gormagons name wrong, Gorgonzola, Gormacam, Gormless, so funny. And when Hodges and Zack threw the dummy off the roof and it passed Bones and Booths talking, Booth saying did that just happen whilst still looking at Bones. A nice little episode but because last weeks Halloween special was so great has not gained the kudos it would have normally got.
  • When usually I am little disappointed after new Bones, then this episode impressed me.

    8.6
    "Great"
I do not know but season three so far has not had the magic I have waited. They have nice dialogs, cases but nothing what amazed me in first season and was there on second. But it does not matter as this episode really had the excitement up, catching story and intriguing. Maybe because in this case they were in the middle of action - it was their institute where the murder took place and the only one who could do that was someone who inside. They did have some good humor there. Like the moment when something fell from window. I first did miss that moment and I was wondering what happened. And maybe this episode had extra charm as they all thought it would be another Gorgamon case. And the ending when it almost felt like Angela was threatened. It sounded weird but it promises good storyline.
  • Predictable but cute!

    7.8
    "Good"
Very predictable but still, a cute show that shows the drinking game as we wil get to that in a moment. But an interm of Bones that is working for them in some kind of Smithstonian thing is murdered. Not because of her working on something but a romantic ties thing. That may have gotten her killed. Meanwhile, we see Booth is posing as Cam's boyfriend to please her family. In which she must lie in order to stop having her family nag on her getting a boyfriend. The drinking game was really cute at the end. Very, very, funny. That is why I love Bones and Booth working together on and off work!
  • Because Daisy is her second favorite flower...

    Wow... I mean really wow...

Some people said it wasn't a very good episode... (I won't go there and say it is my best so far, because in my opinion it isn't, but it was still very good)

First. The case was good. And the fact that it was in the Jeffersonian makes it even more interesting.

Loved that Booth didn't get the name correctly... the whole "Gorgonzola" thingy... It was funny.

My favorite part of the episode was definitely when Felicia appeared for the first time. When she kissed Booth. It wasn't my favorite part because she kissed him, of course not, but it sure added to some really funny moments! He pratically squized poor Cam!! Haha!

Oh and that thing with the passwords? Amazing!!

"Try a planet! (and then...) Jupiter!"

I almost forgot about the ending scene. It was really cute.

"Are you going to betray me?"

    "No."

    Awww... Wasn't that cute?

Let's see how the next episode will be...

Another fun episode of Bones this time bringing us back to the Gorgamon killer and the thought he may be a squint. Brenan and Booth had great interactions especially when Brenan heard that Booth had a date with Cam. On that note it was nice to see some of Cam's family despite the cliche crazy sister bit. Then we have the case itself which had a nice dance of suspects and along the way poor Hodgins is labeled as a possible Gorgamon suspect. I loved the creepy specialist brought in from the outside and so hoped he was the Gorgamon killer. It ended with a fun scene with Booth and Brenan drinking till drunk and as the fan fics screamed in joy. The famous line the squints do their experiments we do ours. Good fun episode of Bones once again showing that Bones unlike lots of shows gets stronger each year and episode.
  • Not my favorite episode, but some good things about characters development.

    10
    "Perfect"
First of all, the episode was mainly about Cam. It frustrated me but she deserved an episode with more scenes than usual. She and her sister were so funny, they were like twelve year olds (which was weird for Cam, but made me laugh). I thought the kiss would serve for some BB but it was only funny (Booth's expression...) and it led to a priceless scene between Booth and Hodgins (may we call this growing friendship?).

The scene with the body falling was very funny too.

    I chose 'character development' mostly over the fact that Brennan seems to change a lot, like being able to announce alone the death of the victim to the family, or interview a suspect alone. There were some cute BB moments, with Booth insisting on the fact that he know Bones very much. It's as if he wanted to prove her something. The last scene shows that they are very comfortable around each other now, but I'm disappointed because I thought Booth was going to take hjavascript:validateForm(document.reviewForm);

Submiter hand when she asked him if he was going to betray her, too.

However, I didn't like the case very much in this episode, and the music they chose was horrible, I hope they'll quit it!
  • Yet another example of why I love this show!

    9.8
    "Superb"
Bones was amazing as usual, I loved it! Though I personally liked last week's episode a smidgeon better. It was still great. A long time ago, I had read spoilers indicating that Booth would have to pose as Cam's boyfriend and that her sister was going to kiss him. I was surprised at how hilarious that situation was- I was sure I would hate it, but it was actually pretty funny. I love how Felicia(?) talked about Cam setting up a tea party with Felicia's dolls and saying that they didn't want her there. The case was pretty interesting, I suspected the supervisor from the start, but the whole smuggler thing was pretty interesting. I loved how all the squints assumed it had to do with the vault, because they didn't want it to be one of their own who had killed her. The end scene with Booth and Brennan drinking was amusing. Once again I can't wait until next week.
  • There is a human side in all...

    10
    "Perfect"
I enjoyed watching this episode, not because of the case but because of the feelings, the personal discoveries.

What I really liked today was the visit to Brennan's personality, the things she likes the most and her feeling towards the case, her interrogation, the fact that she was the one telling the victim's family about the death...

I was amazed when Angela reconstructed the face without a sketch or markers and her reaction to it was revealing, I immediately knew that she knew the girl. The ability to do that is amazing.

But the most important, Brennan. I was happy to find out that Booth knows that much about Brennan, her favorite flowers, the first planet that comes to her mind, her feelings of betray about the case, that's what really matters. I know that they have been working together for a while but this is the episode where we see that Booth really knows her. And she is happy and surprised by it.

I really liked to see all this and that's why I gave that score...
  • A jeffersonian intern is found dead in an incinerator.

    "Perfect"
Awsome episode, I liked the ending, booth and brennan drinking. and how she asked booth in the end if he was going to betray her.

Bones definately showed a softer side. There were a lot good quotes:

Brennan: Kyle, I know you get everything you want by flaunting your superior intellect, but that won't work with me.''

    Kyle: Why is that?''

Brennan: Because I'm smarter than you are''

The ending with brennan and booth drinking was so funny and cutes, they're definately growing closer.

It was great we got to know more about cam's family, especially her sister kissing booth was a lot of fun.

    Hodgins was funny, like always.
  • "What's with the Dummy, Dummies?"..."Hey, I wear suites." Booth said. "Yes, yes you do." replied Hodgins.....

    "Perfect"
I found this episode to be let's just say I smiled and chuckled through most of the episode. Each character had a new sense of laughter brought up in this episode. I did find it exciting when Angela was the first to identify the victim. Look's like Brennan's talent is rubbing off. That's good. I had two favorite, scenes in this episode, although the whole thing was awesome, I say well written. But my two favorite scenes were, one, Booth and Brennan on the bridge thing, when a body fell outside. Quickly running out to find both Hodgins and Zach getting arrested. lol Booth's quote, still going through my head. "What's with the Dummy, Dummies?" lol and then the second piece of that, "Hey, I wear suites." Booth said. "Yes, yes you do." replied Hodgins. Loved that. Ok second favorite scene thought it was sweet. Booth knowing Brennan. "I'm changing my password." She said. "Daisy!--Second favorite flower.--Jupitar!" Booth does know her well. Can't wait to see the signs of proof that Brennan knows Booth well. Ok, so that's my kind of a review. I love this episode, and also I think we've met the serial killer in this episode, but who knows maybe I'm wrong....Angela, watch your back.
  • Bones and Booth investigate a dead body in the incernerator at the Jeffersonian.

    9.2
    "Superb"
Bones and Booth investigate a dead body that turns up in the Jeffersonian incinerator. This episode, while fairly routine (murder solved by squints working together) there were some great one liners that made it worth watching. Booth's "I should just pull out my gun and shoot you right now," was really funny, and as always Zach's social awkwardness adds to the mix. Cam's sister tries to steal Booth (she thinks they are still together) and the resulting situation (too small to be a sub-plot) results in smiles all around. But the best part of this episode is Bones and Booth playing some sort of drinking game at the end of the episode and having that heart to heart talk that leads you to believe that there will be something more...
  • Bones is A HUMAN!

    9.8
    "Superb"
This episode was absolutely great. While it wasn't exactly the most interesting case, it wasn't the worst but there have definately been better, we learned so much more about Bones. She really grew as a person in this episode. She informed the deceased victim's family for the first time, apparently doing very well. She also had a successful interrogation with a suspect. Not to mention the fact that we got tons of great relationship development between Booth and Bones. Him knowing all of her favorites and her reactions was great, and way too sweet. This is one half of why I watch this show.
