    another great episode..

  • predictable play

    7.0
So a build up to the big takedown, obviously pelant is going after Dr. Saroyan to get to Booth. But even if this has a predictable outcome it is the "how" that is important... Things are finally heating up for the final season
  • Tony and Roxie Are Back *Beware of Spoilers*

    9.5
I have always enjoyed it when Booth and Brennan go undercover. I especially like that the Tony and Roxie aliases were brought back instead of reusing Buck and Wanda again. The scenes at the marriage retreat were very amusing and go to show that, despite the repercussions of Booth's lie, the duo have a pretty good relationship. The end scene of the episode is a positive sign of better things to come.

The side story involving Cam having her identity stolen was pretty good too, although I'm surprised more characters did not jump to the conclusion of Pelant being involved. Whether he is or not I suppose only time will tell. I especially liked the scenes where Hodgins gave Cam his lawyer's card and later on when Cam thanked Angela for her work in trying to find whoever is responsible.

The investigation was not entirely predictable, but I knew it wouldn't be the wife or mistress. Say what you want about the old couple but the love between those two characters was a nice thing to see, and made the knowledge of their fate all the more bittersweet.

There is still animosity between Booth and Angela. Something tells me she won't think it over and have some aha moment but that she will only discover the truth once Pelant comes back into the picture, which rumor has it will be quite soon.moreless

    • Angela: Listen, you're just freaking out because Pelant hacked into all your research on all of us and then used it against us. You feel guilty.
Sweets: Thank you, Dr. Montenegro. Where'd you get your degree in psychology again?
Angela: The same place you got that degree in sarcasm.

    • Angela: Leave? You can't leave.
Sweets: You think about leaving every day.
      Angela: No, I don't.
Sweets: I'm not at the top of my game right now, so please don't lie to me.
Angela: All right, fine. I think about leaving.
      Sweets: There you go.
Angela: But I'm a wild, free spirit artist-type with wanderlust, and you're a tight-assed geek boy who doesn't really fit in anywhere but here. No offense.

    • Arastoo: I'm still ... it was like Cam was daring the cop to bust her.
      Angela: Was the cop racist?
Arastoo: You could take it that way, yeah.
Angela: Racism is racism. Right, sweetie?
Brennan: Oh. I have found, as a Caucasian, if I enter into any kind of debate like this, the non-Caucasians, like you and Arastoo, yell at me, as if I represent all white people.
Arastoo: I tend to represent all Muslims.
Angela: I tend to represent all hot women.
Brennan: I don't know if you can classify hot women as a race.
