  • Mildly humorous episode

    6.5
Mildly humorous episode, spoiled by Brennan and Booth behaving like they have a combined IQ of zero and Angela feeling sorry for herself because she has a good job with no time to stay at home drawing pictures.
  • Loved the corpse

    8.5
One of the light hearted episodes of Bones, full of daft moments - especially Brennan dancing, and yet another of Hodgin's experiments. They should produce a dvd extra of all the experiments which go wrong. ! !

Best moment ? When the janitor came into the basement to find B&B kissing. The look on that guy's face was priceless.
  • Diamond in the Rough

    9.5
this episode would have been better if Brennan could actually dance. At least it ended good.
  • A faire tale

    9.0
The most romantic chapter Bones. Besides fun. Weakest the case.
  • oh good boy

    7.0
I watched this episode after the following one because I didn't see that there were two episodes airing on the 14th. The following episode lacks completely of chemistry between B&B, like almost all the rest of the season. So here I was surprised by a very sweet ending but weird too, because all the dancing thing that BOnes tried to do was bad, why was it scripted like that? The Angela thing was sweet, but is there a hint that she is leaving the show? I think I am sick of watching episode where BOnes' character has changed and all the dynamic and direction of the show. With mixed feelings but for sure disappointment and resignation I rate a seven.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Bones refers to "primitive" tribes in this episode, but anthropologists avoid using the term "primitive" because of its derogatory implications. One would think that she would know this as one of the leading members of the field.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Brennan: Dancing the Rumba is like foreplay.
Booth: (mumbling and kissing Brennan) ...because you've got a good instructor.

    • Brennan: (while they're dancing) Do we have to do anything special when it ends?
      Booth: No.
      Brennan: Why not?
Booth: Because it's never gonna end, Bones. It's always gonna be just like this. Just like this.

    • Sweets: I don't get dancing as a profession.
Booth: Look, I, uh, I put myself through college teaching dance.
      Sweets: Seriously?
Booth: Yeah, seriously. Thirty bucks an hour.
      Sweets: Oh, being a stripper?

    • Cam: I'm gonna have to cut your hours here at the Jeffersonian. There's been a new round of cuts and—
      Angela: Are you firing me?
Cam: No, no, I'm just cutting your hours. I actually thought you might be glad.
Angela: Hodgins put you up to this, right?
Cam: There's been a new round of funding cuts. Yes, of course, it's Hodgins.
Angela: I am gonna kill him.
Cam: Angela, could you just go along with it? I mean, everyone gets what they want. Hodgins gets to be a hero, you get reduced hours, and I get—
Angela: Get to walk away clean.
Cam: No, Angela, I get you. A little of you is better than a lot of everyone else.

    • Cam: Does Angela know we're having this talk?
Hodgins: Are you kidding me? I like being able to draw breath. Can I have the cone of silence?
Cam: I hate the cone of silence.
      Hodgins: Can you... (groans)
      Cam: Fine. Go.
Hodgins: You know how sometimes it's worth it to lose a lot of something just to keep a little of it? Because a little of that something is worth a lot more than something else?
Cam: Oh, God, I think we need to have a long discussion on the subject.
