Every law enforcement series does the episode about diplomatic immunity and how the heroes must find a way around it to find justice. The whole bombing didn't really gel for me, there seemed to be a lot of irrelevant detail which didn't end up entirely relating to Lisa's murder. The focus of the episode seemed off, focusing entirely on Lisa – though I grant you she was indirectly the reason for the explosion – and almost no mention of the other victims. The solution to getting the judge to waive immunity was also a little weak for me.
Cam didn't do herself any favours here – by blatantly falsifying and misrepresenting evidence, she completely lost credibility and Booth was impressive in his refusal to participate, his justification excellent. Going with the truth got the correct result in the end anyway, without the political fallout. Cam's actions only made both Booth and Brennan lose faith in her, as they should. If their leader cannot obey the law, what is the point of gathering evidence at all?
The only parts I did like were Angela/Hodgins gloating over Cam/Booth; and Hodgins FAA stunt and being dragged away by Men in Black.
Didn't like this episode, the entire story felt lopsided and unsatisfactory.
